As we all know, in most cases stagnation means stepping backwards, especially for a young and innovative startup such as Yasni. In the last few months everything went exceptionally well for us, particularly regarding our international growth. Therefore, we decided to have a look at Russia. We already have plenty of users from all over the world (U.S.A., UK, France, Canada, Brazil, etc.), but in our opinion Russia offers enormous opportunities for us. At first, we introduced Russian as a new language on Yasni. That was quite a challenge, because all Yasni sites and texts had to be translated. Fortunately, we have a native speaker in our team! So now you can use Yasni completely in Russian – both when logged into your Exposé and when logged out. Of course, you have to set your browser language to Russian, then.
Now, quasi built overnight, here is our new Russian Yasni domain, accessible at yasni.ru.
The opportunities Russia offers can be seen, e.g. at the size of the country. It is by area the largest country in the world and counts more than 140 million inhabitants! We really look forward to welcoming those 140 million users on yasni.ru!

Last week you could hear shouting and cheering throughout our Yasni offices. After weeks of testing, translating, implementing sources, testing, translating and again testing the Spanish version of our website finally went online. We warmly welcome yasni.es to our Yasni family! After having launched our French version shortly we are happy to have a Spanish version too now…
From now on you can easily switch between the different Yasni domains DE, AT, CH, UK, COM, FR and ES by clicking on the flag symbols in the navigation top right.
As each domain uses different sources for the search results, results differ depending on the domain as well. A good example are the results for Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso:
Of course our users can choose Spanish as their Exposé language and for their e-mails as well. So, if an English spreaking user wants to improve his Spanish, no problem!
What else is there to say about Spain? The first thing that crosses my mind are the top formula 1 drivers Fernando Alonso and Rafael Nadal. And the the winning of the FIFA World Cup…and what else? Good weather. Majorca. Tapas. Bullfighting. Here are some more hard facts about Spain:
Gouvernement: Parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy
King: Juan Carlos I.
Prime Minister: José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero
Population: approx. 47 million
Yasni users: we are excited to find out…
